For three days, we're bringing together a select group of destination change makers to discuss AI, emerging technologies, and the future of travel. Unlike a conference, this intimate gathering takes us out of our day-to-day and creates space where conversations can flow over shared meals and thoughtful downtime.

The details

Oceanstone Resort is located just 45 minutes outside of downtown Halifax. This coastal retreat carries our tradition of gathering outside of the hustle, in spaces designed for both gathering and unwinding.

Converge is a very small event! We have room for 18 total destination marketers, and we will only select one applicant per DMO.

Converge is an event hosted by CrowdRiff, and designed to come at no registration cost for attendees. We do ask that attendees cover their travel costs, including flight and accommodation.

  • Round-trip transportation between Oceanstone and Halifax
  • All meals throughout your stay at Oceanstone
  • Optional off-site group activities
  • All event workshops and creative activities
  • A keepsake package with items to enjoy both during your stay and after you return home
  • Travel to and from Halifax
  • Accommodation at Oceanstone Resort
  • Spa treatments and non-group activities
  • Anything purchased in your room or on-site

Please note that we have a scholarship program in place for destinations facing restrictions on their professional development funding. If you apply to Converge and know that funding for travel will not be approved, please let us know at the time of your application so we can support as soon as possible.
